Saturday, June 13th was the last day of class for my Saturday ESL group. We are now on vacation (until September)!!! The last day of class is always bitter-sweet for me. I look forward to having the time off (sleeping in, going out for coffee or heading out to a farmers' market with Melissa), but my students are awesome (!!!) and I always really miss them. The last day of class this year was particularly special, however. The students finished their level 1 textbook!!! I was SOOO proud of them!!! This picture is of all of us together (only 1 of the group was missing that day). They are holding their completion certificates. They really are a great group of students, and I'm looking forward to starting the level 2 book with them in the fall.
